Some coffees are simply good and easy to enjoy. Peñas Blancas is exactly that kind of Colombia – sweet, tropical and with a warmth that makes every cup feel settled and satisfying. It brings ripe fruit and caramel sweetness while staying balanced and very drinkable.

This lot comes from Peñas Blancas in Huila, grown at 1,650–1,800 meters above sea level by Nestor Lasso and Jhon Vergara. The Castillo variety is known for its resilience and naturally clean cup profile – and at this altitude, it develops the balanced sweetness and clarity that Huila is recognized for. Only fully ripe cherries are hand-selected, then processed using the natural method and dried on raised beds for 25–30 days under controlled conditions. Temperature and humidity are carefully monitored throughout, and the cherries are turned regularly to ensure even drying and controlled fermentation. SCA score 86.
