Some coffees don’t need to shout to stand out. They’re light, clean, and just ridiculously easy to drink. Banko Gotiti is exactly that kind of Ethiopia – refreshing, clear, and perfect for everyday filter. Delicate but full of character, it brings calm, fresh vibes from the very first sip.
This is a washed Ethiopia from Yirgacheffe, Grade 1. A high quality classic with a crisp, elegant profile.
The flavor comes from the work of small local farmers in the Banko Gotiti area of Yirgacheffe. Their careful picking and precise processing result in coffees that taste balanced and beautifully clean. Yirgacheffe is famous for its botanical varieties and tea-like delicacy, and this lot delivers the pure essence of the region without unnecessary fireworks.
The washed process highlights clarity and structure. That’s why the cup feels light and transparent, with bright but natural aromatics.
Taste profile
Expect notes of bergamot, black tea, and juicy peach. The cup is fresh, gently citrusy, naturally sweet, and very clear. Tea-like body, crisp acidity, and a clean, refreshing finish that lingers without weighing you down.
Why you’ll love it
If you’re into classic Ethiopian profiles in a pure, light, and elegant form, this one is for you. Banko Gotiti is an everyday filter dream – refreshing, never overwhelming, yet still packed with flavor. A coffee for slow mornings, long afternoons, and any day when you just want a great, effortless cup.
How to brew
Brew it your way: V60, AeroPress, Chemex, Moccamaster.
Use water at 93-96°C and a medium grind to bring out the tea-like structure and citrus-peach sweetness.
Want more juiciness – go a touch hotter and slightly finer. Want a more tea-forward cup – grind a bit coarser.
