Kenya Chepsangor – fruit, flow, and a touch of wine
Another anaerobic Kenya from the western part of the country, this one comes from the Chepsangor washing station. It’s bright, juicy, and full of ripe fruit – cherry, berries, plum – grounded by a smooth chocolate base and a gentle wine-like note that ties it all together.
Why you’ll like it
Chepsangor brings Kenyan precision and modern fermentation into one cup. The Ruiru 11 and Batian varieties, processed anaerobically, develop depth and sweetness without losing clarity. It’s a clean, juicy, and confident coffee – nothing overdone, just well made.
How to brew
Brew it as a pour-over, Chemex, or AeroPress. Go for a medium grind and water at around 93°C. When hot, it’s bright and fruity; once it cools, it leans into wine and chocolate. No tricks, no fuss – let the coffee speak for itself.
Roasted by TRIGGER
Small-batch roasted in Warsaw, with focus on balance and transparency. Kenya Chepsangor is part of our filter line – for those who appreciate clarity, energy, and coffees that tell their own story.
